What an interesting day! I got to work yesterday morning to discover that my computer had crashed (I didn't do anything I swear!). Apparently all the GX400s (my machine) all over campus were crashing so obviously I didn't do :) Luckily I save everything on the network and had made hardcopies to work from the day before so I didn't lose any work or any time yesterday while my system was being rebuilt/replaced. But I'm back in business today and all my files and storage room look great from the nice cleaning I gave yesterday :)

Brad is gone to Nationals today and I probably won't see or hear much of him until Saturday night. I'm sure he is high on model geekiness right about now :)

Monday's session with the acupuncturist was interesting, he burned some stuff on me (I have no idea how to spell it) and placed on needle right up under my nose (he was impressed with my toughness as this needle is suppose to be one of the most painful). Then he placed these little seed like things in my ears at different points and they are there now. My left ear I'm suppose to be able to rub if I get stressed and it will relax me. Very interesting this Chinese medicine :)

Monday night we played a few rounds of poker which Brad happily taught me... He was beating me and then I caught up, to break the tie we played one more hand before going to bed and I beat him. Damn, I'm good... I'm just afraid now that I just spent my beginners luck :)

Back to work

Heh...no worries. The very first time I played poker, I ran through all my buy-in in about two hours. The second time I played, I lasted over seven hours and made money to boot!
It was probably a form of Moxa that he used on you. That is very cool. I am glad you having a good experience with this. Maybe I should try sessions with your doctor. Where is he located?
Right now he is located in the Virginia Highlands (about 10 minutes from work), but they just signed a lease and will be moving Sept 1st to somewhere off 17th street. I'll get the new address for you if you are interested.

If you have blue cross insurance he gives a 20% discount, but his prices are under $100 anyway.
Does he do any herbal stuff with you or is is just the acupuncture and moxabustion?
He does do herbals and I would be doing them as well, but b/c I'm seeing a doctor for my problem he doesn't want to mess with that so we are going with just the acupuncture and moxabustion(oh so glad you knew what it was called).
